01Can I customize size and shape?
Yes. We weave rectangles, runners, ovals, rounds, half-moons and entirely irregular footprints up to roughly 8 × 14 metres. Anything larger we discuss as a multi-panel commission.
02Which materials fit home vs commercial use?
For high-traffic commercial we lean on hand-knotted wool and wool–jute flatweaves — both age beautifully and tolerate years of use. For home, the answer depends on the room: silk-blend in living areas you barely walk on, washable cotton in bedrooms and children's rooms, hand-tufted wool almost everywhere else.
03Can you create patterns from reference images or sketches?
Almost always. We have woven from watercolours, kid drawings, family photographs, antique fabric scraps and exhibition catalogues. Send whatever you have and we'll reply with a feasibility note.
04How long does a custom rug take?
Hand-tufted: 4–8 weeks of weaving plus sampling and shipping. Hand-knotted: 12–24 weeks. Flatweave: 6–10 weeks. Add 2–4 weeks of design and sampling at the front, and 1–3 weeks of delivery and install at the end.
05Can multiple rugs be requested for a business project?
Yes. We regularly weave hotel and hospitality programs of 20–80 pieces with consistent palette, fiber, and finishing across the entire run. We coordinate the whole timeline and ship in waves.
06How does the WhatsApp consultation work?
You message the phone or WhatsApp number listed in the footer, or email contact@yubgz.com. YUBGZ reviews photos, dimensions and references through the selected contact channel and uses that channel for project follow-up.
07Do you provide installation support?
Delivery and installation options depend on destination, rug size and project scope. Available freight, customs support, on-site installation or written installation guidance are confirmed in the written specification or quotation.
08Do you work with interior designers and architects?
Yes. Designers, architects and hospitality teams can contact YUBGZ by WhatsApp or email with project scope, dimensions, material direction and delivery location. Trade terms or confidentiality requirements are confirmed case by case.
09Can I visit one of your studios?
YUBGZ handles inquiries through its Hong Kong office. Office visits or supplier visits, if available for a specific project, must be confirmed by contact@yubgz.com or WhatsApp before travel.
10How is pricing structured?
Per square metre, with the fiber and weave construction as the main drivers. Hand-knotted wool–silk sits at the top of the range; flatweave wool sits at the bottom. We send a written quote with each specification sheet. Freight, taxes, installation or optional services are listed separately where applicable.
